According to Brgy. Anos Captain Celerino Balasoto Jr., the monthly program for the SCs is important for information dissemination.

Captain Balasoto Jr. Brgy. Captain Balasoto Jr. added that they had to visit each senior citizen from his/her house before to inform them of the services the barangay offers.

Afterwards, representatitves FO3 Duannee Fadri and FO2 Rex Alipio from the Bureau of Fire Protection discussed the importance of fire prevention. The discussion is a part of the ongoing program of BFP to educate barangays in Los Baños on fire incidents.

FO3 Fadri and FO2 Alipio explained the characteristics of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and the ways to handle fire incidents by conducting fire drill demonstrations.

According to FO3 Fadri, the discussion was important for the SCs, particularly the women. “Ang mga babae, sila yung naiiwan. Sila yung nagluluto.
