The Philippines observes Rabies Awareness Month every March. This year’s theme is “Rabies-free na Pusa’t Aso, Kaligtasan ng Pamilyang Pilipino: Iparehistro at Pabakunahan Ninyo!” With the implementation of Municipal Ordinance # 2018-1755, responsible pet ownership has been continuously reiterated by the municipality.
A spoken word poetry contest in line with rabies awareness month entitled “TulaRAM 2022: Spoken Word Poetry” is also currently underway until March 23. To participate, you may view entries from the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist’s Facebook page.
