A 19-year old UPLB student was stabbed and killed in a hold-up incident at F.O. Santos St., Umali Subdivision, at 1:00 this morning.The victim, identified as BS Agriculture student Bernard Peñaranda, was walking along the said street with two others when two men on a motorcycle approached them and announced a hold-up.

According to witnesses, his two companions, a boy and a girl, were able to escape to call for help while the student was left upon being stabbed in the chest. He was taken to the Los Baños Doctors Hospital at 1:30A.M. but died.

The robbers took nothing.
