As a way of doing its part in enriching the next generation, the Los Baños Times held a free campus journalism seminar for high school students on February 18. This was done at the UP College of Development Communication’s (CDC’s) Lecture room. The seminar lasted a day, and speakers were members of the LB Times themselves.

They taught a variety of topics: from the conventional writing and layout to more modern subjects, such as online journalism. A workshop and open forum was also held at the end of the sessions, and the participants were invited to contribute to the LB Times as junior community correspondents.
