Mayondon took home the gold medal and bested 38 ASEAN participants in the Open 10 Rapid Chess category during the 15th ASEAN + Age Group Championships from June 2-12 at the Sands Cotai Central in Macau. The Philippine team composed of Concio, Adrain de Luna, and Daniel Quizon also won the gold in the Group Rapid Chess in the Open 10 category.
