Brgy. Pansol starts 120-day feeding program for mothers

Pregnant and lactating women of Barangay Pansol, Calamba City started their 120-day feeding program on August 1, as part of the 2016 Nutrition Month Celebration last July.

For the 38 mothers who joined the feeding activity, Brgy. Pansol allocated 30 pesos each for 120 days. This budget came from the barangay’s budget and from Non-Government Organization’s (NGO) donations.

Calamba coop officers undergo free training-seminars

Officers from 64 Calamba cooperatives will be trained in a series of training-seminars focusing on credit, risk, and financial management. These training-seminars will run for six sessions and had its first session on credit management last August 12, at the Calamba City Training Center, Poblacion, Calamba City.

Batong Malake Senior Citizens holds midyear GA

Around 50 senior citizens gathered on July 16 at the Batong Malake Covered Court for their Midyear General Assembly.

The assembly is a whole-day event organized by the Batong Malake Senior Citizens Association (BMSCA) headed by President Florentino Montemayor Jr. Other private establishments around the Batong Malake area also helped in the event.

PESO holds Job Fair Caravan in Brgy.Timugan

Nearly 90 job hunters participated in the Barangay Job Fair Caravan held last August 26 at the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Los Baños Municipal Hall, Brgy.Timugan.

Companies located within the Laguna area, such as Dunkin Donuts, PeopleServe, Optimum, Eaton Industries, Generika Drugstore, Robinsons, and Savemore, participated in the Job Fair.
